Also its a short drive to a supermarket and convenience stores. There are a mixture of residents and no age limits apply. This is not a village but is a great alternative to a village for anyone looking to downsize or those travellers wanting a lock up and leave location. There is no doubt that this property would be worth more outside the complex but being part of the complex (and the fees that apply) mean that prices are more affordable. Insurance you will always pay which is a large chunk of the fees. Lawns are also mown for you which is a bonus (plus many more benefits). Feedback from a recent buyer:: Lets think about a unit in Stillwater hypothetically. If say the same house was $620,000 (approx but could be higher) outside of the complex but you paid insurance (lets say $3000) each year, put some money aside for maintenance and mowing. After those expenses you may pay approx $3000 extra each year but you have the safe and security of being in the complex, lawns are mown, gates and an onsite manager is there to help. It may take 20 years to make up that difference ($60,000/$3000) making buying in Stillwater appealing. An interesting way to look at it. Also at any time they can be solid rentals.
