Plus the River Walk and other trails for those who like to wander. An excellent selection of white sandy beaches nearby – a short drive. Or if you are fit, then maybe a bike ride or walk. Early childcare also just a flat walk, or else a bus ride for the older students going to Bream Bay College, Waipu has continued to attract families of all ages. At the other end of the spectrum, there are many very active retirees now calling Waipu home. Waipu Golf Club, Waipu RSA and Waipu Bowling Club are just a sample of the many clubs. But there are also casual walking groups, art collectives and musical groups eg Flaming Ukes (a bunch of very friendly ladies who are very talented ukelele players). So whatever your interests may be, I strongly suggest that you look closely at fenced privately located home very soon – or you may very well miss out !!
