Overview

Encouraging all interest - motivated vendors

Vendors would like to see offers- get in touch for more information on this award winning vineyard. Located in the picturesque Lower Dashwood, just 20 minutes from Blenheim, this 12.82-hectare property combines premium Sauvignon Blanc production with boutique accommodation. Approximately 7 hectares of vineyard resides on the title, complemented by an additional 0.8 hectares on adjoining reserve land under lease. An architecturally designed two-bedroom cottage further elevates the property, providing flexibility as a residence, guest accommodation, or income stream. The vineyard benefits from a unique layout across multiple terraces, each delivering sought-after flavour intensity that has contributed to award-winning wines for iconic Marlborough wine companies. A variation of free-draining silt loam alluvial soils, deposited by the Awatere River, together with diverse rootstocks, provide complexity and resilience. With blocks planted over different years, vine succession is well considered. Supported by a substantial water right and with astute vineyard management, the property is positioned to deliver consistent, high-quality yields season after season. Having been previously leased to a leading New Zealand wine company, the vineyard now comes with a one year rolling grape supply agreement, ensuring continuity of production and offering an attractive option for investors or those seeking entry into Marlborough's wine industry. Positioned on the lower terrace, the boutique two-bedroom cottage with office and carport is surrounded by native plantings and meets Healthy Homes standards. It presents an excellent option for on-site living or additional rental income. Panoramic 360-degree views from the property extend from the Southern Alps to the North Island, further enhancing the property's appeal. Completing the package is a purpose-built four-bay shed, including two secure bays for safe storage of equipment and vehicles. After years of careful stewardship, the vendors are ready to pass this outstanding property to new custodians eager to continue its legacy of premium Sauvignon Blanc production.
