Overview

Once in a lifetime opportunity

Celebrating a wonderful sense of privacy and tranquillity, this extraordinary 3716sqm (approx.) landholding is located at the heart of Orewa. Masterfully designed to showcase the look of a luxury lodge and the feel of a tropical resort, the expansive residence is an architectural showpiece and provides options for large scale family and multigenerational living. While the home currently has no CCC, the scale and prime location present endless opportunity now and in the future - to add value, land bank or develop. The property incorporates two gated entrances (one off 115 Grand Drive and the other off 95 Tauranga Place), a grand circular driveway, landscaped grounds, a tropical swimming pool complex and helicopter landing pad and hangar. Timelessly elegant interiors feature rich timber detailing and impressive proportions, with walls of glass capturing light and sun and bringing the outside in. The enormous floorplan sprawls out over one level, with the atrium foyer featuring Schist, setting the scene for the pure design drama to follow. The formal lounge and dining spaces flow into the enormous living and entertainer’s kitchen, where chefs can connect with guests over the huge, curved island and enjoy the large scullery, two dishwashers and high-quality appliances. Walls of bifolds open up to create a seamless connection with the decks, gardens and swimming pool complex outside. Bedrooms are located in a series of spacious wings, while a generous office makes working from home a breeze. The luxe master has a walk-in robe, ensuite and deck access, while the guest room next door also has an ensuite a deck access. Three more bedrooms, the family bathroom and home theatre are located along the atrium hallway. The enormous garage/ helicopter hangar would also make the ideal home for a classic car collection. While this private paradise enjoys complete peace and seclusion, it’s just a five-minute drive or pleasant stroll from Orewa village and beautiful beach, as well as one minute from the motorway onramp.
